The green – blue waves roll onto the golden, sandy beach only two km from the school, and the Pyrenees are visible from any point. The landscape is varied and vibrates with the special light which attracted so many artists from the Impressionist period. Matisse, Derain, Picasso, Braque, Cezanne and Dali are all honoured in the “Musée d´ Art Moderne” in Céret, 30 km away and in the Dali museum in Figueras, Spain which is only 50km away.
